To better serve the residents of Madison County, the County will be changing email addresses to save money. This is due to the changes, fees, policies and procedures with the State of Montana email standards. These changes will begin taking effect starting November 6, 2017. All email addresses will end with "@madisoncountymt.gov".
Why is this happening?
Madison County is currently receiving it's email service from the State of Montana. Recently, the State has made changes which will end up costing more to provide email addresses to all county employees. In order to save money, Madison County has decided to provide it's own email service, which will require a change to county employee email addresses.
When will this happen?
This will begin November 6, 2017.
Is any other contact information changing for Madison County?
No. No other contact information is being changed at this time for the County.
Will the staff directory be updated on the Madison County website?
Yes. All email addresses will be updated on the County staff directory as well as webpages.
I am having trouble with the County website and/or with contacting County employees via email. What do I do?
