Locations, Hours & Fees

Madison County has 2 class III landfills. Items Accepted at Landfills: All inert items such as untreated wood waste, metal, appliances, tires (Auto), concrete unpainted with re-bar removed, tree branches, etc. All items need to be sorted for separate disposal.

Please take all tree branches to either landfill (Solid Waste Site). Do not throw them in the dumpsters.

Madison County has 9 Container Sites. Items Accepted at Container Sites: Regular household garbage, Recycling material such as cardboard, aluminum cans and plastics.

HOURS:

Container Sites are open 24 hours/day

Twin Bridges Landfill - 1.5 miles east of Twin Bridges Hours of operation: Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Closed Sunday, Monday and Holidays.

Ennis Landfill - East of Jeffers, 2.5 miles on Jack Creek Bench Road Hours of Operation: By appointment only, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Closed Holidays. (406) 843-4275
